Children and Individuals Under the Age of 18
The Service and Software are not meant for individuals under the age of 18, and the Service and Software may use mechanisms to prevent the registration and use of the Service and Software by such underage individuals. In the event that AnEar discovers it has collected personal information from a child under the age of 18 without parental consent, AnEar will delete that personal information as soon as possible.
Information AnEar Collects
AnEar collects the personal information that you submit when registering and using the Service and Software, including, but not limited to, items such as your name, delivery address, e-mail address, account name and password, phone number, credit card or other payment information, and other information that you enter into AnEar’s systems and over the telephone.
AnEar may collect anonymous information through cookies, navigational data such as Uniform Resource Locators (URL), and other technologies for tracking users. A cookie is a small piece of data containing a unique identification number that is sent to your browser from a Web server, and is stored on your computer or other device’s hard drive. The unique ID number identifies your browser to AnEar whenever you visit. Cookies do not enable anyone to access personally identifiable information that you have not already given us. Cookies and other data allow AnEar to track your usage of the Service and Software, including the date and time of visits and the items viewed or searched.
AnEar may collect information about the computer you are using, such as what internet browser you use, the kind of computer you use, and other information about how you use the Site
If you use a mobile device to access the Service and Software, AnEar may also collect additional information from your mobile device, such as unique device identification numbers or geo-location information.
You can set your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but some features of the Service and Software, such as account logins, may not work properly or you may not be able to use the Service and Software at all. Similarly, you may set your mobile device to refuse to provide certain information, but certain features of the Service and Software may not work without such information.
From time to time, AnEar may also collect information from users in other ways, such as voluntary surveys or interviews to collect feedback and suggestions for improving the Service and Software or e-mails, phone calls, or other communications sent to AnEar. AnEar may also supplement the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties.
Uses of Collected Information
AnEar uses the personal information collected from you to fulfill your service requests made through the Service and Software. This involves actions such as providing your service request, delivery address, and phone number to independent contractors involved in fulfilling your transactions, providing your credit card or other payment information to third-party payment processors, and using information from independent contractors to perform background checks or other types of screening, which may involve the assistance of third parties. AnEar attempts to keep such personal information secure by using security methods customary for such types of transactions.
AnEar may also use the personal information collected from you to (i) create De-identified information such as aggregate statistics relating to the use of the Service; (ii) notify you when Site updates are available; (iii) market and promote our Site and Services offered to you through the Site; (iv) fulfill any other purpose for which you provide us personal information; and (v) for any other purpose for which you give us authorization.

Disclosure of Collected Information
AnEar may share aggregated information that includes non-identifying information and log data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and to deliver targeted advertising about other products and services.
AnEar may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate or improve the Service and Software, to provide the Service and Software on its behalf, to process payment, provide customer support, provide geo-location and other information to Friends on Demand, to host its job application form, to perform website-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, and improvement of the Service and Software’s features), or to assist AnEar in analyzing how the Service and Software are used. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on AnEar’s behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose other than the purpose for which we disclose it to them.
AnEar may also provide personal information to AnEar’s business partners or other trusted entities for the purpose of providing you with information on goods or services AnEar believes will be of interest to you. If you choose to purchase any of these goods or services, your personal information such as delivery address or payment information may be used to complete such transactions. You can, at any time, opt out of receiving such communications through a mechanism indicated in such communications.
AnEar cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. AnEar will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as AnEar, in its sole discretion, believes necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of AnEar, a user of the Service and Software, or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity AnEar considers to be, or to have the potential to be, illegal, unethical, or legally actionable. In addition, AnEar may disclose information about you to counter or prevent any malicious access or use of the Service and Software or to prevent harm or loss to any user of the Service and Software.
AnEar may provide personal information to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of AnEar’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information maintained by the Site is among the assets transferred.

AnEar’s website or Software may contain links to other websites owned and operated by third parties. AnEar is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites. AnEar expressly disclaims any liability that may arise from your use or provision of any of your information whatsoever to third-party websites.
Retention and Update Policy
To preserve the integrity of its databases, AnEar may retain collected information for an indefinite length of time. AnEar will delete information from its database when it receives an appropriate request. If you wish to make such a request, which requires that AnEar verify your identity, or if you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact AnEar at firstname.lastname@example.org. You agree not to hold AnEar liable for responding in good faith to any request that appears to come from a legitimate source for that type of request.
AnEar uses security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under its control. For example, we use encryption protocols for sensitive information such as credit card or payment information. Such measures may change from time to time, depending on industry standards and perceived security risks. However, despite such security measures, AnEar cannot guarantee the security of your information and disclaims liability for loss, misuse, and alteration of your information under its control to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. California Privacy Rights
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California can obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the proceeding calendar year. In particular, the law provides that companies must inform consumers about the categories of personal information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties.
